Fall… pumpkins, leaves, halloween,.. and so much more

Fall,… the current season that is breaking the internet.

During the months of October and November, we see something in nature begin to change. We feel a slight breeze begin to swirl through the air, and we smell the crisp smell of fresh leaves and apple pies drift by. We notice all of the leaves changing colors and falling swiftly to the ground. Nature seems just a bit brighter, just a bit more colorful, and a bit more exciting during this time. We watch as pumpkins begin to grow, and are sold by the bundle. We watch as kids play and become filled with joy, bouncing through leaf piles and running through nature. We taste delicious apple pies and cinnamon crumb cake, in honor of the seasons’ flavors. And best of all, we celebrate the season as everyone dresses up in costumes for Halloween; partying the night away in a decorative and fun manner.

Fall is surely a #trending season, and the internet can agree on this.

Social media bursts in color as everyone begins to post about fun Fall festivities. The colors, the parties, the smiles, and the food begins to fill up every person’s social media as friends and family members joyfully share their life experiences.

Businesses are booming as some sell seasonal decor while others create seasonal festivities to join in on like pumpkin patches or pumpkin carving contests.

Children are happy and energetic as they jump around in leaves, visit pumpkin patches, go on hay rides, and collect Halloween candy.

Adults become excited to decorate homes, clean and become refreshed for the new season, and host or attend fun costume parties.

This season loves to take social media and the internet by storm. How could the world not constantly post about their fun Fall festivities, Halloween costumes, and the beauty of nature?

Fall, the season for everyone, helps to bring in the end of the year with a bang. The excitement is something that cannot be denied, and calls the whole world to join in on. The joy and fun that the Fall season brings to children, teens, and adults is surely something worth sharing. People cannot help but share their fun experiences of Fall to the internet. With so much to see, and so many things to do, how could Fall not be a #trending season?

#DigitalRefreshProject

What are the top three takeaways from the DRP project?

My top three takeaways from this project were the fact that I learned how to use all new kinds of tools to create new designs, I became a bit more creative as I was pushed out of the box to come up with new designs, and I got to connect with more people as they designed ideas as well!

What were the greatest challenges? Best moments?

The greatest challenge for me was coming up with a design that had not already bee created! I had to use a lot of creativity for that one! I believe the best moment was feeling satisfied with the end result!

What are your final thoughts, ideas, and experiences regarding the DRP project?

My final thoughts regarding this project would be that I am very happy and pleased with all of the outcomes. I had a lot of fun, and I am enjoying all of the new ideas and creativity in it all!

How to you plan to integrate what you have learned from the DPR project into a spiritual project?

I believe that I can integrate this knowledge into my spiritual walk as it helps build my creativity, which I can use in my future career. God created me with a heart for design and creativity, so this project help me expand upon my creative abilities, which honors God!

This project and this course have both been very beneficial to me for what I want to do with my career in the future, and I have gained much knowledge and creativity through it all. This has been a very fun and exciting project and opportunity!

Trending on social media this week is a creative and fun buzz about the upcoming holiday: Thanksgiving.

Thanksgiving is an exciting time of year when families come together in gratitude and thanks, sharing delicious food and sharing gratitude of their many blessings. Adults bake wonderful food and goodies to bring to the table such as pumpkin pie and bread rolls, while children dance around and play around the table, or in the big leaf piles outside. This holiday is filled with the colors: green, red, golden, yellow, and orange.

Many wonderful organizations go out during this time to find people to bless, providing them with food and shelter. John 3:16 Mission is an incredible organization that works hard to bless others during this time. Many people give to this business so that they can give back to those in need.

This wonderful holiday is certainly one that should be trending, as it is just exciting as it is heart-warming.

Introduce Yourself (Example Post)

This is an example post, originally published as part of Blogging University. Enroll in one of our ten programs, and start your blog right.

You’re going to publish a post today. Don’t worry about how your blog looks. Don’t worry if you haven’t given it a name yet, or you’re feeling overwhelmed. Just click the “New Post” button, and tell us why you’re here.

Why do this?

  • Because it gives new readers context. What are you about? Why should they read your blog?
  • Because it will help you focus you own ideas about your blog and what you’d like to do with it.

The post can be short or long, a personal intro to your life or a bloggy mission statement, a manifesto for the future or a simple outline of your the types of things you hope to publish.

To help you get started, here are a few questions:

  • Why are you blogging publicly, rather than keeping a personal journal?
  • What topics do you think you’ll write about?
  • Who would you love to connect with via your blog?
  • If you blog successfully throughout the next year, what would you hope to have accomplished?

You’re not locked into any of this; one of the wonderful things about blogs is how they constantly evolve as we learn, grow, and interact with one another — but it’s good to know where and why you started, and articulating your goals may just give you a few other post ideas.

Can’t think how to get started? Just write the first thing that pops into your head. Anne Lamott, author of a book on writing we love, says that you need to give yourself permission to write a “crappy first draft”. Anne makes a great point — just start writing, and worry about editing it later.

When you’re ready to publish, give your post three to five tags that describe your blog’s focus — writing, photography, fiction, parenting, food, cars, movies, sports, whatever. These tags will help others who care about your topics find you in the Reader. Make sure one of the tags is “zerotohero,” so other new bloggers can find you, too.
